A collection of print and digital designs created for GBC

Toronto Raptors partnership

Problem

The challenge was to design merchandise and social media content that showcased the partnership between the Raptors and George Brown College, generating excitement, strengthening brand visibility, and creating a cohesive visual identity, all within the event’s tight timeline.

Solution

Designed t-shirts and social media banners in line with Raptors and GBC brand guidelines. The minimalist t-shirts feature the Raptors logo on the front and the GBC logo on the back, creating a unified, professional look that boosts school pride and enhances brand visibility.

GBC Food Court Social

Problem

The 2024 Food Court Social, marking the George Brown College Foundation’s 40th anniversary, needed impactful designs to engage 650+ guests and 50 sponsors, celebrate the milestone, and elevate the event’s prestige.

Solution

Created a range of event designs, including posters featuring renowned chefs, printed materials, and a photo backdrop, all tailored to enhance the event’s celebratory tone and provide a memorable experience for attendees.

The Centre for Business

Problem

The Centre for Business needed a distinctive, abstract pin design that would serve as a meaningful and subtle symbol of recognition for key individuals, such as award winners, mentors, graduates, and special guests.

Solution

The final design for the pin features a clean, minimalist look with the Centre for Business green and George Brown College blue integrated in a subtle yet modern way.

Indigenous Mentorship Program

Problem

The existing logo for the Indigenous Mentorship Program lacked alignment with the George Brown College (GBC) brand and had several design inconsistencies. Issues included a weak connection to GBC’s core visual identity, typographic imbalance, and overly stylized elements like the wolves and turtle.

Solution

A revised logo featuring a more cohesive color palette, with GBC’s primary blue incorporated into the design, and refined wolves and turtle elements with minimal, realistic silhouettes. The typography was adjusted for better readability and balance in both lockups. The final design ensures a stronger connection to GBC's brand while maintaining the integrity of the Indigenous Mentorship Program's identity.

George Brown College required engaging, visually cohesive social media graphics to enhance its online presence and communicate key messages effectively, while strictly adhering to brand standards.

Solution
